Why I'm documenting my Bronco project journey
If you do a search on YouTube for any car related topic, you will find a plethora of helpful videos with tips and tricks related to almost any part or system on you vehicle. An amazing (and I can testify, quite handy) resource for any current or aspiring mechanic! However, I found that those videos suffer from the same symptoms as most social media. While not always polished like Instagram, they make the job look easy, or maybe skip a step or two so that the videographer can get to the happy ending.
My goals and reasoning for publishing a public account of my Bronco build are twofold:
- To unveil the entire process to anyone that is contemplating a project of this sort. I want everyone to see the problem-solving, the planning, the frustrations, the re-purchasing, the frustrations, and of course - the victories and motivations
- To try to hold myself accountable for pushing this project forward and on to completion!
My hope is to publish an update once a week or so, and document progress made… or lost. The good, the bad, and the ugly (I’m more of a John Wayne man myself, but it’s a great phrase so…).
If you are here, then you’ve made my time worthwhile already.
