About Me

So what's my deal? Why start a blog? Fair questions. Let me try to answer them.

My name is Chris. I'm a web developer turned project manager who happens to like working on cars. Some see that as a weird combo, and it very well may be since most programmers seem to be into woodworking. I've lived in Eastern Washington state my whole life. And yes, it's way different than Seattle.

All of that to say you might see a wide range of content on this site. Most of it will be documenting my project Bronco build, but I'll be sprinkling in some tech-related posts as well as maybe a few of my thoughts on various topics.

I would be remiss at this point to not explain Ranger Run. That is what my wife and I called our property, and is named after our dog of 15 years, Ranger. He passed in 2023, and we miss him terribly.

This site is dedicated not only to Ranger, but also to my friend, Betsy. She has encouraged me to work on what I love, supported me when I felt defeated, and allowed me the time to go out to the shop and plug away at my project.
